Do we need to sign a contract for a certain length of time?
No you do not need to sign a contract. We do have a service agreement that gives us permission to provide service and outlines the cost as well as other things. When we meet with you during the free initial assessment, we cover over the service agreement with you and you are given a copy.
How does billing work?
We normally take an initial payment equal to 2 weeks worth up front. Then you will be billed every 2 weeks after service is given. Whenever you stop service, the initial payment will be applied to the last 2 weeks of service. If there is a difference, we bill you or refund you.
Are there a minimum number of hours?
No, there is no minimum number of hours. We provide service from 1 hour once a week to 24 hours, 7 days a week.
What is the difference between "live-in" care and "24/7" care?
Live in care is for those individuals who require around the clock service but sleep through the night. Caregivers work 24 hours shifts and need to have a bed to sleep in. If you require assistance during the night then that requires 24/7 care. The 24 hour period is covered by 2 caregivers who each work 12 hour shifts. The night shift is awake to tend to your needs.
What if we are not satisfied with the caregiver?
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your caregiver, we will replace them. It is important to us that you are not only comfortable with whoever is coming into your home, but that you look forward to them coming over.
What if a caregiver is sick or unable to report to work?
Visiting Homecare will provide another caregiver in their place. This person will have the necessary requirements to assist your needs.
Do you provide services in assisted living facilities?
Yes. We can provide care in private homes, assisted living facilities, independent living facilities, nursing homes, and hospitals.
Send us a message so we will know how to serve you best. A staff member will be in touch with you to discuss your care options.
